We recognize that stability equates to a fully supported environment. We remove barriers and create the conditions young adults need to focus on growth. From the moment a resident moves in, their basic needs are met so they can direct their energy toward education, employment, and life skills development.

The Faine House is home to both male and female residents. Entry into the program is highly selective since there are only ten suites on the property. Over the past four years, 232 applications have been received, with capacity to serve 50 individuals during that time.
Prospective residents apply through an online application reviewed by the organization’s leadership team. The screening process includes multiple rounds of interviews to assess readiness and commitment to the program.
Participation in both education and employment is required, and 100% of current residents are enrolled in school and working. While these benchmarks help illustrate program outcomes, each resident brings their own story and path forward.
The Faine House RISE Program (Resilience, Independence & Sustainable Empowerment) includes stable housing, life skills development, employment support, education guidance, transportation assistance, and mentorship valued at approximately $1,500 per resident per month.
Resident contributions are intentionally built into the supportive housing model as a way to prepare young adults for real-world financial responsibility. Contribution levels vary based on individual circumstances. For those transitioning from foster care or eligible public systems, a portion of the monthly service cost may be covered through available government or community funding.
For residents without outside support, The Faine House uses a graduated service fee structure that begins at $0 for the first 30 days and increases gradually as income grows, with a maximum resident contribution of $450 per month.
The remaining cost of services is supported through private donations, allowing The Faine House to maintain high-quality, individualized support while keeping the program accessible, sustainable, and focused on long-term outcomes.
When young adults are given stability, responsibility, and the expectation to rise to the occasion, they do.
Residents are expected to work, pursue education or training, and actively engage in their own growth.
In return, they receive safe housing, mentorship, transportation support, life skills training, and the time needed to build a sustainable future. It’s not a handout. It’s a partnership and it’s changing lives.
